S.E.T. Select Energy GmbH (SET) is currently looking for an Oil Trading Operator (m/w/d) for prompt employment at Hamburg Headquarters.

S.E.T. Select Energy GmbH (SET) was founded in 1985 and can look back at more than 35 years of experience, solid reputation and successful operations in the international oil and energy markets. SET is an independent, private and family-owned medium-sized Energy Trading company.

Your role & responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of cargo and vessel operations for crude oil and oil products
• Operational duties include vessel vetting, insurance declarations, voyage instructions, documentary instructions, discharge orders, preparation of relevant credit instruments
• Liaising with cargo inspectors, agents, superintendents and other service providers
• Storage monitoring and liaising with storage operator
• Invoice processing and liaising with Back Office on settlements
• Processing and follow up on demurrage claims
• Close communication with traders on pricing and cargo hedging
  
  

Your qualifications

• Previous experience in an operational role, commodity trading preferred
• Knowledge of international oil and/or commodity trading preferred, at least, knowledge and experience in the shipping sector
• Fluent in English (written & spoken)
• Competent use of MS Office tools
